The priority of the Commercial Management of Lurbel, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, is the internationalization. Therefore, its first International Sales Convention has been held in its main facilities in Ontinyent (Valencia), on the 12th and the 13th of December. The countries represented were Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Andorra.
Made in Europe
The visit to the facilities organized by the three brothers Lurbe (hosted by Rafael, from production area) reinforces the guarantee of quality and confidence given by the Made in Europe. In addition to know the day-to-day of Lurbel first-hand, the sales representatives have been trained in textile technologies used by the brand and have discovered some of the early prototypes that are already into a testing phase.
Italia leads the exports
Italy, followed by Switzerland, is leading the exports with a presence in 75 points of sale and six commercial agents: “the forecast for 2018 in Italy consists of reaching 140 points of sale”, assures Javier Lurbel, Sales Manager.
The excellent quality-price ratio of Lurbel is the main advantage highlighted by the agents against other European technical sports brand.
Sock, the spearhead
The sock remains the spearhead to access new markets. In this regard, the features of Bmax textile technology in the socks and the iDT technology applied to the garments, are the most important added values to differ from the large multinational companies in this sector.
